JAKARTA – PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI), through its subsidiary PT Bias Petrasia Persada, achieved outstanding operational performance at Cicatih Mini Hydro Power Plant (PLTM Cicatih). Throughout 2025, the plant produced a total of 37,679,000 kWh of electricity, the highest since commercial operations began in 2019.
This production surpassed the previous 2022 record of 35,493,570 kWh and marked a 17.22% increase from 2024’s 32,143,710 kWh. Monthly average output also hit a historic high of 3,139,917 kWh.
Sumarwoto, GM Renewable Energy of KKGI, attributed this to operational efficiency and optimal water discharge in Cicatih River, Sukabumi, West Java.

With a capacity of 2×3.2 MW, PLTM Cicatih is managed by PT Bias Petrasia Persada (99% owned by KKGI subsidiary PT Khatulistiwa Hidro Energi). Since achieving Commercial Operation Date (COD) with PLN in October 2019, it has become a key asset in the company’s New Renewable Energy (EBT) diversification.
This milestone reinforces RAIN Group’s commitment to green energy transition without greenhouse gas emissions. Electricity is supplied to PLN under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
