JAKARTA – As part of its commitment to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) and humanitarian solidarity, PT Insani Baraperkasa and PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI) have officially disbursed Rp300 million (approximately US$19,000) in aid to support disaster response and recovery efforts following natural disasters that struck several regions in Sumatra.
The assistance was channeled through the Indonesian Red Cross (Palang Merah Indonesia/PMI) Central Office on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. KKGI’s swift response aligns with broader efforts by both government institutions and the private sector to mitigate the impact of the disasters in Sumatra. According to the latest data, total disaster relief funding from various stakeholders has reached Rp66.7 billion, covering emergency funds, logistics, and evacuation equipment aimed at accelerating recovery in affected areas.
In a statement, Wimpi Salim, Director of PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI) and President Director of PT Insani Baraperkasa, a subsidiary of KKGI, expressed his deep concern over the disaster affecting communities in Sumatra.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to those impacted by this disaster. This assistance reflects the social responsibility and commitment of PT Insani Baraperkasa and PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk to be present and supportive in times of need. We entrusted the distribution of this donation to PMI given its strong track record and extensive reach in disaster response. We hope this contribution will help ease the burden on affected communities and support a faster recovery process,” Wimpi Salim said.
