Samarinda – PT Insani Baraperkasa (IBP) proudly secured three prestigious awards in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) at the Kaltim 2025 event. The ceremony took place at the Plenary Hall GOR Kadrie Oening on Tuesday, November 11, where the awards were presented by the Vice Governor of East Kalimantan, Seno Aji, to PT IBP’s Head of Mining Engineering, Saprianto.
PT IBP achieved an outstanding record with zero accidents over 43,321,291 working hours. Additionally, the company received platinum recognition for two key workplace programs: HIV/AIDS prevention and control, as well as tuberculosis mitigation.
Saprianto expressed deep gratitude for the awards, emphasizing that this recognition reflects not only the company’s success but also the dedication and commitment of the entire team to uphold safety and health standards. He noted that the awards serve as motivation to continuously innovate and maintain a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
According to Saprianto, the keys to PT IBP’s success include a strong commitment to K3, the systematic and measurable implementation of programs, active participation from all stakeholders, and ongoing innovation and education. He affirmed the company’s commitment to uphold and enhance K3 standards and maintaining zero accidents going forward.
Vice Governor Seno Aji commended PT IBP and all East Kalimantan companies that consistently prioritize occupational safety and health in their business operations. He highlighted that a company’s success should be measured not only by business achievements but also by efforts to protect employee welfare.
Rozani Erawadi, Head of the East Kalimantan Department of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertrans), added that the K3 culture should go beyond regulatory compliance. It must become an ingrained habit in daily operations as a strategic asset for business continuity. This safety and health culture should be consistently practiced across all organizational levels, from directors and HSE management to field workers.
