Milestones

1981: Established under the name PT Kurnia Kapuas Glue Industries, the Company initially operated in the business of producing wood adhesives.
1991: Initial Public Offering (IPO) and listing of shares under the ticker symbol KKGI on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

2003
The Company changed its name to PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk and began entering the coal mining industry.
2006
PT Insani Baraperkasa, as the holder of the Generation III PKP2B coal mining concession, began operating in the Simpang Pasir and Tani Bakti Blocks.
2008
The Company’s industry classification on the Indonesia Stock Exchange changed from Chemicals to Coal Mining.

The entire PKP2B area of PT Insani Baraperkasa has received approval for the production stage from the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

2010
Total coal production in the Gunung Pinang, Simpang Pasir, Purwajaya, Tanjung Barokah, and Tegal Anyar block areas reached 2.2 million MT.
2011
Total coal production increased by 91% to reach 4.2 million MT.
2012
Received several awards as follows:
- “Best of the Best” award for the “Companies Under a Billion” category in the Asia Pacific region from Forbes.
- “Top 50 Indonesia Companies” award from Forbes.
- “Pratama Award for Mining Environmental Management 2012” from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
2013
Received the Company Performance Rating Program Award related to Environmental Management at the East Kalimantan Provincial level.
- The Company’s subsidiary, PT Insani Baraperkasa, also received the “Pratama Award for Mining Environmental Management 2013” from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
2014
Insani Baraperkasa received the “Utama” ranking in the Mining Environmental Management Award and the Company Performance Rating Program Award in Environmental Management with the predicate of “Green Rank” at the East Kalimantan Provincial level.

Acquisition of 43% shares of Khatulistiwa Hidro Energi, which is engaged in Hydroelectric/Mini Hydro Power Plants. Khatulistiwa Hidro Energi has a subsidiary, namely Bias Petrasia Persada (BPP) with 99% share ownership.
Signing of an agreement between BPP and the State Electricity Company (PLN) regarding the purchase of electricity with a capacity of 6,400 kWh located in Cicatih, West Java.
BPP expanded its renewable energy business, namely Hydroelectric/Mini Hydro Power Plants.
PT Insani Baraperkasa won the Company Performance Rating Program Award in Environmental Management “Green Rank” at the East Kalimantan Provincial level.
The Company received the “Pratama Rank” in the Mining Environmental Management Program Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Establishment of a new subsidiary, namely Bumi Hidro Energi, which is engaged in Hydroelectric Power Plants (PLTA) and Mini Hydro Power Plants.
Insani Baraperkasa received various awards, including:
a. Award from the Company Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management “Blue Rank” at the East Kalimantan Provincial level.
b. Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia in connection with the implementation of the second semester discipline week period 31 October 2016 – 4 November 2016.
c. Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia in commemoration of the 64th International Customs Day.

2017
A stock split with a ratio of 1:5 was carried out, so the new nominal value was recorded at Rp10 and the number of outstanding shares was 5 billion shares.
2018
Insani Baraperkasa signed a mining contractor service contract agreement with PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) and an amendment to the PKP2B with the Indonesian Government in accordance with the provisions of Mineral Law No. 4 of 2009.

2019
Insani Baraperkasa successfully maintained the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 certifications with the scope of “Provision of Coal Mining.”
The Company obtained an operation permit (COD) for the 2×3.2MV Mini Hydro Power Plant located in Cicatih, West Java.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Insani Baraperkasa and Mulawarman University in Samarinda for cooperation in the fields of Education, Research, Consulting Services, and Community Empowerment.

2020
Signing of a Purchase Deed for 40% shares of the coal transport port PT Palaran Sinergi Mas (PSM) worth Rp11,353,100,000 to support Insani Baraperkasa’s operations.
2021
Binding sale and purchase of shares of new companies, amounting to 70% of Buton Mineral Indonesia (BMI) and Bira Mineral Nusantara (BMN) shares with a transaction value of Rp175 million each to expand into the nickel mining business.
2022
The Company conducted a share buyback, which will be carried out for a maximum period of 18 months, reserving funds of a maximum of Rp160,000,000,000 or equivalent to USD11,267,606 assuming an exchange rate of USD1 = Rp14,200.

The Company conducted a Share Transfer of Repurchased Shares/Share Refloat periods 1 and 2 in the following ways: 170,000,000 repurchased shares were distributed proportionally to Shareholders free of charge with a ratio of every 250 shares receiving 9 repurchased shares and has been approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on December 7, 2023, 9,876,685 shares were distributed as a Management Stock Option Plan (MSOP) no later than March 31, 2024.
PT Resources Alam Energi changed its business line on October 19, 2023, which was originally the coal mining business line changed to quartz/quartz sand mining.
PT Bumi Perangat Hijau, changed its business line on December 20, 2023, which was originally the real estate & construction business line changed to quartz/quartz sand mining.
