As one of the companies engaged in energy supply, PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk understands that the management of the energy sector must move towards sustainability.

Besides being potentially used anywhere, this energy does not produce emissions & greenhouse gases that trigger climate change that threatens to damage the earth. On the other hand, seeing the natural potential and the availability of abundant water energy scattered throughout Indonesia and estimated to reach 75,000 MW of utilization, while its utilization is only around 5%.

There are many types of renewable energy, including water energy, wind energy, solar energy, biomass and biogas energy, and hydroelectric energy. Currently, PT Bias Petrasia Persada (PT BPP) is a subsidiary engaged in the new and renewable energy business through Mini Hydro Power Plants in the Sukabumi area.

Cicatih Mini Hydro Power Plant

Established on January 12, 2009, PT. Bias Petrasia Persada (PT PBB) is trying to answer the demands of rapid global development in Indonesia, especially in terms of electricity supply.

The Cicatih Mini Hydro Power Plant, which has been operating since October 2019, is located on the Cicatih River, Sukabumi, West Java. Currently, it has established a long-term partnership with the State Electricity Company (PLN) in accordance with the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
